Job Description: The Account Manager is responsible for developing and leveraging customer relationships to exceed sales goals within a designated territory of Senior Living communities. This individual drives sales growth by creating and executing targeted selling strategies. Strategic Business Unit: Direct Supply Equipment & Furnishings provides tremendous value to Senior Living communities during every step of the equipment procurement process, including over 1 million product solutions and a streamlined approach to capital project management. Essential Job Functions and Leadership Responsibilities: 1. Drive growth and manage a designated territory of Senior Living communities by developing and leveraging relationships with key decision makers over the phone 2. Identify and solve customer needs, provide consultation on products and services, and advise on other matters related to a customer’s business operations through a strong understanding of Direct Supply’s products and services 3. Increase sales by coordinating internal resources to quickly solve customer needs, requests and problems 4. Collaborate with internal selling teams to identify sales opportunities and execute strategies to maximize growth 5. Leverage data and resources to develop and execute on growth strategies 6. Prepare and maintain sales reports to measure performance 7. Develop, maintain, and take ownership of long-term customer relationships with purchasing managers, executives, administrators, and other senior living and healthcare professionals. 8. Coordinate internal and external resources to address customer requests for products, safety concerns, financing, and regulatory issues. 9. Gain specialized knowledge of and understand the operations of a health care facility including: budgeting process, state survey process, department roles and responsibilities, resident profiles, levels of care, and the decision-making process. 10. Other duties as assigned by Sales Manager

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree required (but significant relevant experience in lieu of degree may be considered) 2. Demonstrated ability to execute strategies for establishing and growing customer relationships to meet and exceed sales goals 3. Strong written and verbal communication skills 4. Effective time management and organizational skills 5. Self-motivated with demonstrated energy, initiative and drive for results 6. Ability to make quick, smart decisions with limited information. 7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs 8. Able to work independently with limited supervision 9. Willingness to be flexible with schedule to meet the demands of our customers.
