Silver Lake College Presents Steinbrecher-Mayer Honors Recital For Music Students on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7:00 pm

Silver Lake College of the Holy Family Department of Fine Arts is delighted to present the Steinbrecher-Mayer Honors Recital on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 7:00pm. The recital will take place in Bob & Pat Endries Hall, a 464-seat theater located in the new Franciscan Center for Music Education and Performance on the campus of Silver Lake College, 2406 South Alverno Road, Manitowoc. There is no charge for admission.

Formerly known as the Student Music Recital, the Steinbrecher-Mayer Honors Recital was renamed in fall of 2013 to honor Sister Francis Henry Steinbrecher and Sister Mary Aloyse Mayer, two influential figures in the early history of the undergraduate music program at Silver Lake College. Students are selected by the applied faculty based on their performance and professionalism in applied lessons and performance classes. Selected students include:

Oboe: Katherine Sohn
Piano: Craig Krueger, Justin Mrotek, Sarah Robole, Emma Sloma
Voice: Emily Cattani, Bridget Geniesse, Christopher Guy, Emily Laurin, Lucy-Ann Muabe, Kevin Sievert
Violin: Jeffrey Erdman
