Endowed and Annual Gift Scholarships

Through the generosity and support of Silver Lake College of the Holy Family alumni, donors, and friends of the college, Silver Lake College of the Holy Family awards scholarship assistance to current students from more than 100 funds. These scholarships are awarded annually by a scholarship committee and are not automatically renewed for subsequent years. Endowed scholarships are used to meet a student's financial need and traditionally replace institutional grant funding. A FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required for consideration of these scholarships.

Academic Excellence Scholarship

These scholarships are awarded to Wisconsin high school seniors who have the highest grade point average in each public and private high school throughout the State of Wisconsin. The number of scholarships each high school is eligible for is based on total student enrollment. In order to receive a scholarship, a student must be enrolled on a full-time basis at a participating Wisconsin college by September 30th of the academic year following the academic year in which he or she was designated as a scholar. The value of the scholarship is $2,250 per year, to be applied toward tuition. Half of the scholarship is funded by the state, and the other half is provided by the institution. Eligibility cannot exceed eight terms.

Private Scholarships

The Office of Financial Aid posts private scholarship information outside the office as it's received and students are welcome to review the notifications there. In addition, an online Scholarship Update is revised often with current scholarship information.
