Applicant must be entering their junior or senior year of college and be a resident of the general area of the Newton Lions Club.  Applicant must submit a current school transcript with application.  Applications are available at the Ariens Family Welcome Center.

Carpey Law Scholarship
Applicants must be incoming or current students attending school in the U.S.  Applicants must write a 1,000-1,500 word essay on the given topic.

6/12/2015            $500 Boomtown Internet Group Scholarship
Applicants must choose a topic from the given list and write an essay that is 1,000 to 1,500 words in length.
6/15/2015          $1,000 Abbott and Fenner Scholarship
Open to all high school juniors and seniors, as well as students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution.  Applicants must write an essay between 500 and 1,000 words on the given topic.
6/15/2015            $500 Global Lift Equipment Scholarship
Applicants must be currently attending or planning on attending a post-secondary institution in Canada or the US by September 2015.  Applicants must submit a short story.  Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or greater.
6/30/2015            $1,000 Manitowoc County Fish and Game Scholarship
Applicants must be entering their junior or senior year of college.  Four scholarships will be given, 2 of which will be given to students pursuing a career in conservation or environmental studies.
6/30/2015            $1,000 Denise Bertucci Memorial Scholarship
Student must be enrolled full-time, starting third semester, have 3.0 GPA or higher, and be 21 years old having returned to school after at least two years off. Application must include three letters of recommendation and official transcripts.
6/30/2015            $500 Lifestyle Dentistry Scholarship
Applicants must be attending college or university no later than September 2015.  Current high school seniors who will graduate in 2015 are eligible.  You can be enrolled in any field of study.  Applicants must submit answers to the essay question.  Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or greater.
6/30/2015          $1,000 Dry Defender Protect Your Bed Scholarship
The Dry Defender Protect Your Bed Scholarship is a $1,000 award open to any undergraduate or graduate student. Students must make a creative piece (comic, short film, drawing, poem, etc.) featuring the Dry Defender mascot.
7/31/2015            $500 Goedeker's Appliances Annual College Book Scholarship
Students need to be enrolled in an accredited college for the spring 2015 semester and must have a 3.0 GPA.  Write a 300-word essay about why attending college and your field of study are important to you.
7/31/2015            $500 Goedeker's Appliances Annual Public Service College Book Scholarship
Students will need to be enrolled in an accredited college for the spring 2015 semester and proof you or a member of your immediate family is employed in a position of public service.  Write a 300-word essay about why you personally deserve to be a scholarship recipient.
8/1/2015            $1,000 Free Speech Scholarship
Applicants must write a 500+ word essay on "Freedom of Speech Makes America Great".  Applicants must be enrolled at an accredited technical school, college or university in the U.S., must be over age 18 and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (or equivalent) while in college.
10/1/2015         $1,000 The Peter Leeds Stock Trading Scholarship
All applicants must have a high school diploma at the time of application and be an American or Canadian citizen.  Applicants must be 18 years or older during the fall semester, must be a full-time student with an interest in finance, economics, and trading stocks.  Students will be required to provide proof of enrollment.  Applicants must write a 750 to 1,500-word essay.
10/16/2015            $1,500 Pelican Water Scholarship
Applicants must write an essay, submit a transcript and letter of recommendation.  Applicants must be enrolled full time.
11/28/2015            $1,000 BBZ Limo Scholarship
Applicant must be currently enrolled in high school, college, university, or trade school.  Applicants must create a short 2-5 minute video of yourself talking about the given topic.
12/15/2015            $750 New Flosum Scholarship
Open to students who are pursuing or intending to pursue their bachelor's degree in the fields of computer engineering, computer science or in another technical discipline, such as electrical engineering, physics or mathematics with an interest in the field of computer science.  Applicants must write a 1,000-word essay.
12/31/2015            $2,000 Future of Assisted Living Scholarship
Applicants must include a 250-word introductory bio with their 500-750 word essay in response to the essay question.
12/31/2015 $1,000-$3,000 Dietspotlight.com Scholarship
Applicants must submit a 900-1,500 word essay on the given topic.

Assisted Living Innovation Scholarship
Applicants must include a 250-word introductory bio with their 500-750 word essay in response to the essay question.

Undisclosed Tuition DCF Scholarship for Youth in Out-of-Home Care
Applicants must have been in out of home care for at least six months after the age of 15 and left after the age of 18. Applicants must be accepted into a post-secondary institution at the time the application is sent and be ages 23 or younger. An application needs to be completed along with a copy of an acceptance letter from the post-secondary institution.
Varies Varies Hispanic Scholarship Fund
Site contains scholarship opportunities for students who have a Hispanic background. The requirements for the scholarship vary, but have opportunities for student from high school to graduate level.
Undisclosed Up to $2,500 Holy Family Memorial Scholarship Program
Scholarship for full or part time students of Nursing degree or similar program.
Students must maintain a 3.0 grade point average and make an employment service commitment.
