Using My.SL.edu to Sign up for a Class
Silver Lake College uses the Jenzabar My.SL.edu Web interface to provide current students with up-to-date information on course listings and course descriptions. Class information in My.SL.edu instantly reflects changes to the schedule made by the Registrar's Office.
Course Schedules by Department
All undergraduate and graduate courses are listed by department and users have the option of selecting a current listing or tentative, future schedule. Graduate courses are denoted by a course number of 500 or higher, for example, MUS*522 is a graduate-level music course. Click on the course number (ex: CPS101) for a description of the course.
Class locations on My.SL.edu are shown under the 'Building' header. Most listings appear much like this: SLC*225, meaning the class will meet on the Silver Lake College Campus (SLC) in room number 225. If the classroom contains the letter 'G' the class will meet at the Generose Enrichment Center on the Manitowoc Campus.
Silver Lake College also provides accelerated adult degree programs at various Wisconsin locations. Courses are available in Appleton, Fond du Lac, Green Bay, Keshena, Marinette, Racine, Sheboygan, Waukesha, Wausau, West Allis, Rhinelander, Madison, and Milwaukee. Off-Campus locations appear in My.SL.edu in much the same way with a shortened form of the city followed by an abbreviation of the building. For example, APL*FVT will meet in Appleton at Fox Valley Technical College. For more information on class locations contact the Silver Lake College Registrar.
