About Interlibrary Loans

Request Materials From a Network of Libraries

Use the InterLibrary Loan Request Form  to borrow materials not owned by Zigmunt Library (Online or Distance Course students/faculty please see note below).  Check the library catalog or Online Databases first to see if the item(s) or journals/magazines are held by Zigmunt Library.  If you are not sure how to search the library catalog or Research Databases, please ask a librarian to help you.

Eligibility

Silver Lake College students, faculty, and staff are eligible to borrow on Interlibrary Loan.  Guests of Silver Lake College Zigmunt Library (Townspersons, Religious persons, and Alumnae) that hold a current Zigmunt Library Courtesy Card also may borrow on Interlibrary Loan.  Textbooks are not available through Interlibrary Loan.  Interlibrary loan materials must be picked up in person.

Students and faculty of Online and Distance courses may request books and media that are owned by Zigmunt Library.  The library does not have to own journals/magazines to make article requests.  Materials will be sent via U.S. Mail to the requester, please include your mailing address in Patron Information.  Patrons are responsible for returning materials insured via U.S. Mail or UPS.  Articles do not need to be returned.

Delivery

Interlibrary Loan requests are processed as quickly as possible.  We ask that you allow a minimum of 5 days for journal articles and 2 weeks for other resources.  If you have any questions, please contact the library.
