INFORMATION SESSION – Career Planning for the Adult LearnerFeb. 19, 2013
Silver Lake College of the Holy Family is pleased to host a complimentary adult education information session on Tuesday, February 19, at 5:00 p.m., at the Silver Lake College Generose Enrichment Center, 2406 South Alverno Road. Carol O’Rourke, Assistant Professor and Director of the Silver Lake College Student Success Center, will share information and answer questions about the Credit for Prior Learning Program at Silver Lake College. Come and learn how you can earn up to 60 semester hours of credit for prior learning for military training, formal business or professional training, knowledge gained through job related training and experience, professional certifications and licenses, CLEP exams, and through a portfolio evaluation process. If you like, you can bring your resume, transcripts and/or portfolio, and Carol will step you through an initial review of your credit opportunity.
